Dear All,

May I say it was my lucky day when I first met George on Mabby Field. We immediately hit it off as we both had an interest in nature and air-rifles. He was such a gentleman and a truly modest man; highly intelligent without being a snob. Dr Samuel Johnson would run out of words to express my sorrow regarding George's passing.

Regarding a photograph of George, I alas have none apart from the many between my two ears which unlike an SD card, can never be erased.
