Saddened to hear the news of George’s passing. My earliest memory of George is when his 'biker gang' and mutual mate Phil Coxon, cut imposing figures dressed in their leather and denim gear , made occasional visits to the Deysbrook. We lost touch for many years but met up again when he recognised me at the Kennels, since then I always stopped whether running / cycling or walking for a chat with George as he made his leisurely walk around the Mabby and park. I will miss our talks about local wildlife and past acquaintances, sorry we never got to say goodbye. Condolences to all family and friends. Greenacres is a very apt setting to say goodbye to George RIP George
